Our client, a local authority has the opportunity for a qualified and credible Housing Solutions Officer to join their team in this pivotal role. The successful candidate will join as soon as possible, to deliver superior quality Homelessness and Housing Solutions and Advice Services that are customer centric and have high regard for equality, diversity, understanding and respect for people and their individual circumstances. This is initially a temporary role on a three monthly rolling basis, full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday paying £22.82 per hour PAYE; which is equivalent to approximately £44K salary or £30 per hour through an umbrella. Hybrid, 2 days per week at the Redditch Office. Our ideal candidate will: * Have at least 3 years’ demonstrable experience working in a homelessness, housing options or other relevant advice service * Have an depth knowledge of legislation, regulation, and policy in relation to the provision of relevant services * Have experience of dealing with and managing complex and contentious issues and highly charged and emotive situations * Have experience of casework and writing complex discursive reports Our successful candidate will; * Work with honesty, integrity, drive and determination * Be tolerant, respectful, and polite when working with people and apply policy and procedure accurately to achieve excellent outcomes and solutions Please forward updated CV if you are interested in this position for immediate consideration
