Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a residential scheme with significant groundworks packages. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the construction site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, site labour, and agency staff to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Assist with programme management to keep works on schedule and maximise productivity.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and resolve construction-related issues as they arise.
  • Assist in managing subcontractor performance and site operations.
  • Maintain accurate site records and document control procedures.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of company policies, procedures, and management systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years' experience working on UK residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of groundworks and residential developments.
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, take ownership, and use initiative on site.
  • Good commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Relevant CSCS and site management certifications/cards.
