Overview
There is an exciting opportunity to join the Enfield Production Team as an Operator. In this fast-paced role, your main responsibility will be to deliver on the production plan while upholding the highest standards in Health & Safety, product quality and Food Safety, ensuring you maintain a safe working environment. This includes following all operation procedures and keeping workspaces clean and orderly, using available resources effectively.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment at all times. Escalate any issues.
- Comply with all Food Safety and quality policies and procedures, taking responsibility for the safety, legality and quality of products manufactured. Escalate any issues.
- Ensure hygiene/GMP are maintained in line with BRC standards (clean as you go).
- Run production lines in the most efficient manner to hit the daily production plan. Communicate faults/downtimes to a line technician/engineer as needed.
- Attend team briefs.
Requirements / Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is diligent, reliable, well organised, capable of managing priorities effectively and has a strong eye for detail. Previous experience in shift work, manufacturing or operating machinery is highly beneficial. This role operates between the hours of 6:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required depending on business needs.
