We are on the lookout for 4 part-time Multi-Skilled Operatives to join our friendly team at Ryvita at our Poole site working Monday to Friday, 20 hours a week. The core focus of this role is to take ownership of the safe, smooth and efficient operation of machinery within the Bakery and to operate equipment within the agreed parameters and Bakery targets.
There Are 2 Shift Patterns Available For This Role
8:00am – 12:00pm, worked Monday to Friday – 2 roles
16:00pm – 20:00pm, worked Monday to Friday – 2 roles
Key Accountabilities
Our Shift Leader is looking for a team member to…
- To operate machinery to agreed parameters
- To work to Bakery Standard Operating Procedures
- To demonstrate Personal Accountability within the site and ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met
- To ensure at all times safe working practices or reports unsafe acts or conditions.
- Responsible for adhering to safe systems of work processes and acting in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external standards eg BRC, IFS, Femas.
- Have the highest standard of good housekeeping and good manufacturing practice at all times.
- Ensure that all downtime, weight and quality checks, waste and production data is recorded consistently and accurately.
- Immediately respond to incidents of production downtime and liaise with the technicians for technical faults.
