Role

We are on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join the Ryvita team in Poole. This is a fixed-term contract for a minimum period of 6 months. The role is full-time, averaging 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday (including paid breaks).

We operate a 3-week shift rotation. Shifts rotate with the team and line manager as follows:

• Week 1: 22:00 – 06:00 (Mon–Fri)
• Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00 (Mon–Fri)
• Week 3: 06:00 – 14:00 (Mon–Fri)

Key Accountabilities

Our Shift Leader is looking for a team member to…

• Operate machinery to agreed parameters
• Work to Bakery Standard Operating Procedures
• Demonstrate personal accountability within the site and ensure that Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met
• Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements, and maintain external standards (e.g., BRC, IFS, FEMAS)
• Record downtime, weight, quality checks, waste and production data accurately
• Respond to incidents of production downtime and liaise with technicians for technical faults
