We’re looking for a Packing Operative to join our friendly and ambitious team. As part of the ABF group, we have big plans for the next five years; you’ll play a key role in shaping our future.
The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a team responsible for the set up and effective running of end‑of‑line packing machinery. The Packing Operative working pattern would require full flexibility across the week as it is worked on a 4 on 4 rotation. For example, one week you would work Monday to Thursday, then the following week would be Tuesday to Friday. This will be day shift only, working 6am to 6pm.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead boldly — Collate, record or interpret information for effective role delivery and continuous improvement.
- Stay curious — Proactively engage in training and seek support to improve skills.
- Do the right thing together — Be aware of Safe Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Working, ensuring safety for self and others and maintain excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Make it happen — Assist with the handling and packing of product by operating specified machinery and maintain excellent standards of product and packaging quality.
