We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our friendly and ambitious team. As part of the ABF group, we have big plans for the next five years, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to be responsible for the effective set up and operation of the bars process and packing line, being multi skilled in both functions of the line to enable a flexible operation. You will be based at our Biggleswade site, reporting into the Shift Leader, working on 12 hours shifts Tuesday to Thursday, with an additional 17 flexi shifts per year. This will be Night shift only, working 6pm – 6am.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead boldly — Proactively engage in training and support to develop and improve skill level.
  • Stay curious — Maintain excellent standards of product and packaging quality, whilst ensuring that waste is kept to a minimum and collate, record or interpret information for effective role delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Do the right thing together — Follow SOPs, prioritise safety, and protect colleagues, whilst maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Make it happen — Assist with the handling of raw materials and packing of product by operating specified machinery.
