Are you a Part-Qualified Auditor or Accounts Senior looking for that elusive first move into industry? Marks Sattin is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-award-winning developer in East Leeds to find a commercially-minded Management Accountant. Unlike many industry roles that require previous commercial experience, our client is looking specifically for a high-caliber 'first-time mover' from practice. This is a unique chance to transition into a dynamic corporate environment while receiving full support to complete your professional qualification (ACA/ACCA).

- Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed cost-variance analysis of construction overheads.
- Technical Accounting: Take the lead on key monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with the annual statutory accounts and external audit process.
- Tax & Compliance: Gain hands-on experience in industry-specific tax, including VAT and CIS returns.
- Commercial Projects: Participate in cross-functional projects, including system implementations, capital allowance workings, and banking analysis.
- Board Packs: Compile and prepare essential financial data for the Board of Directors.
Who are you?
- Part-Qualified: Ideally in the final year of your ACA/ACCA training contract.
- The Background: You are currently working in an accountancy practice and are ready for a more 'hands-on,' commercial challenge.
- The Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced, meritocratic environment and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo.
- The Commitment: You are looking for a long-term career move where you can qualify and progress within a successful business.
