Marks Sattin offers a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller (US Ledger) to join a consultancy provider based in Horsforth on a full‑time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role involves responsibility for the US ledger within a small team of five.

The ideal candidate has experience managing multi‑million pound ledgers and the full order‑to‑cash process. In return, the client offers up to £35,000, hybrid working (up to three days per week from home) and working hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure debts are paid on terms
• Meet cash & debt day targets set by the company
• Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales
• Communicate regularly with senior personnel to ensure all relevant debts are managed
• Handle disputed invoices and support negotiation to bring payment within terms
• Identify client issues impacting prompt payment, understand a client’s billing and payment cycle and propose & drive resolutions
• Respond promptly and completely to client and internal enquiries
• Undertake account reconciliations as required
• Support and deliver all company policies, procedures, and corporate governance
• Support cash postings and reconciliations
