I'm currently working with a large financial services company who are looking to bring in a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate would need to be a Qualified Accountant or finalized with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
Reporting into the Head of Financial Accounting, your day-to-day responsibilities would include:
- Quarterly reporting cycles
- Preparing financial statements for the group subsidiaries
- Supporting the external audit and maintaining relationships with the external auditors
- Identifying any financial reporting issues
