This is a fantastic job opportunity to provide technical governance leadership to the C-Suite and build on an already talented team. As the new Head of Technical Architecture & Strategy, you will lead the team directly looking after the architecture of our client-partners extensive application estate, manage the design and architecture demand, ensuring that artefacts and design standards are delivered to time and to quality and work in conjunction with wider business stakeholders to deliver business value from our client-partners IT systems, whilst ensuring systems and data are secure.
PRE-REQUISITES: If you have set up an architecture function in the past, with a distinct level of business culture transformation and innovation experience in terms of how to encourage and support others with light touch governance, coupled with an ability to subscribe to the importance of speed and ability; to prototype quickly rather than writing long requirement documents you are likely to receive an immediate interview request. Individuals with experience of coming up with solutions, making decisions on technology and taking ownership of delivery whilst bringing forth a logical approach to understanding a solution will be of interest.
TECHNICAL: Experience as, and experience leading a team of enterprise architects with deep knowledge of current cloud providers (such as Azure, AWS) and with an understanding of the differences between the platforms is important. Power platform knowledge and an understanding of what dataverse is, coupled with an ability to define the governance around power platform will hold you in good stead. A detailed understanding and appreciation of citizen development, technical innovation & Azure technology, are vital. Experience of working with modern workplace technologies (Data Models, Azure, BI, COTS products) and/or any Architecture related qualifications such as Togaf, Archimate or Zachman would be helpful.
