Jongor Hire have been supplying the event and hospitality industry with catering equipment for over 50 years. Our catering equipment has been thoroughly cleaned and tested before being loaded onto one of our vehicles and that is where this role comes in.
As one of our drivers at our Bristol Branch you’ll:
- Deliver and collect our hire catering equipment to our clients across the UK.
- Ensure items are loaded in an efficient way and assembled on time for our clients at their site.
- Be flexible with your shift pattern particularly during peak months in the summer and Christmas. Whilst the role is predominately Monday to Friday you can start at 4am and finish late depending on our client requirements. Some weekend working is required.
- Find no two days are the same. Your routes will be varied and so will be the types of tasks you will be required to do.
- Be driving in one of our fleet vehicles which are professionally maintained.
- Be flexible and be willing to help your team mates out. This means that you’ll be willing to drive our 3.5T Luton Van, our 12T Van and work in the warehouse during our quieter periods.
Minimum Requirements:
- A HGV Cat C driving licence with no more than 6 points and no endorsements.
- An up to date CPC & Digi card.
- Experience of driving a HGV and experience of working in a fast paced, multi drop role would be preferred.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are important.
