About Our College is an independent specialist SEMH school supporting young people aged 11‑16. Many of our students have EHCPs and diagnoses such as ASD or ADHD, and have struggled in mainstream education. We provide a safe, understanding environment where students are supported to thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver tailored learning sessions to individual students or small groups
  • Teach both on‑site and in outreach settings (e.g., home, community spaces)
  • Prepare lesson plans and resources
  • Write progress reports and maintain student records
  • Support personal growth, independence, and emotional resilience
  • Manage behaviour and provide a safe learning environment
  • Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with students with SEND, SEMH needs, or in alternative provision
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant educational or support role
  • QTS/QTLS
  • Confident in teaching across Key Stages (KS3/KS4) or Primary
  • Flexible, creative, and committed to positive outcomes for all learners
