This is an independent school that specialises in working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan, with ILPs written based upon outcomes and aims from their EHCPs, which identify strategies and interventions to support their needs.

The role:
- Planning and delivering adapted lessons
- Supporting behaviour using calm, relational and therapeutic approaches
- Monitoring wellbeing and safeguarding concerns
- Working with SENCO, therapists, social workers and families
- Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
- To report and record pupil’s attainment, progress and results of assessments within the school’s recording and reporting structure
- Use data and records to set aspirational targets and plan challenging activities
