Role: Dispute Resolution Solicitor – 3 + years PQE in Dispute Resolution.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting on behalf of clients in the resolution of contentious issues, including conducting hearings in the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session.
- Providing advocacy in tribunals, arbitration and mediation.
- Taking statements, attending consultations, drafting pleadings, instructing expert witnesses, preparing cases for proofs/debates.
- Actively participating in business development opportunities.
- Working collaboratively and flexibly with other team members.
- Working closely with experts and ensuring counsel are instructed accordingly where required.
- Being proactive and responsive to client’s demands.
- Liaising effectively with peers and clients at various levels of seniority.
