Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting on behalf of clients in the resolution of contentious issues, including conducting hearings in the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session.
  • Providing advocacy in tribunals, arbitration and mediation.
  • Taking statements, attending consultations, drafting pleadings, instructing expert witnesses, preparing cases for proofs/debates.
  • Actively participating in business development opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively and flexibly with other team members.
  • Working closely with experts and ensuring counsel are instructed accordingly where required.
  • Supporting the partners to continuously drive forward business opportunities.
  • An ability to liaise effectively with peers and clients at various levels of seniority.

Annual Company Day Out and Quarterly team nights/days out.
