We are looking for a proactive person to join our small, friendly team in a part-time Recruitment & HR Assistant role. This role will primarily focus on recruitment activities across the business, whilst also providing administrative support to the HR function. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting new employees, coordinating recruitment processes, and supporting employee onboarding and HR administration.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage a variety of tasks with a varying workload. You will need the ability to multitask, be exceptionally organised, thorough and pay close attention to detail. Previous recruitment experience is essential, and applications without recruitment experience are unlikely to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Screening applications and coordinating interviews
- Communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Supporting hiring managers with recruitment activities
- Preparing recruitment documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting employee onboarding processes
- Assisting with HR administration and maintaining employee records
- Providing general support as required

Location
The role is based at Jones Weatherproofing in Bloxwich, Walsall.
Hours
This is a part-time position working 26 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9:30am – 3:00pm, Friday: 9:30am – 1:30pm. Some flexibility may be available around working hours to accommodate school runs and other commitments.
