b Overview /b p In this role you support safe, compliant waste collection and handling across the site to uphold high environmental and safety standards. You will work closely with the Waste Team Leader and supervisor within a collaborative waste management team, tackling diverse streams including hazardous materials. You help ensure accurate documentation, proper segregation, and timely waste disposal, contributing to site operations and continuous improvement. This position offers hands-on work with a strong safety culture and opportunities to develop within a global real estate services firm. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Safe collection and transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the site with proper segregation /li li Operate a flatbed vehicle to move waste to the designated waste yard following safety and transport rules /li li Prepare waste for licensed contractors in the waste yard, including labeling and staging per regulations /li li Operate a counterbalance forklift truck and perform daily safety checks /li li Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations and timely removal /li li Support team objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives /li li Uphold health, safety, and environmental compliance by following site procedures and PPE requirements /li li Report incidents, near-misses, and equipment defects promptly /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Full UK driving license /li li Valid counterbalance forklift truck license /li li Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste preferred /li li Familiarity with waste segregation, environmental regulations, and safe handling procedures /li li Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities management environments is beneficial /li /ul ul li Safety-focused /li li Strong communication /li li Team player /li li Counterbalance forklift operation /li li Waste segregation and hazardous material handling /li li Site traffic management procedures /li /ul
