EMEA Regional Engineering DirectorLocation: London, Dublin, Frankfurt or MunichWhat this job involves;The EMEA Regional Engineering Director will be responsible for the management and delivery of all engineering Services, leading on all technical aspects of facilities services across portfolio.
The role will be accountable for the Hard Services delivery and provide leadership to all sites across the region, ensuring delivery of their objectives and the implementation of property-specific operating strategies that achieve the required standards.
The EMEA Regional Engineering Director will work closely with both the account and local client team, responding to requests in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to both internal and external clients and key stakeholders.
What your day to day will look like: Lead Hard Services Management across the cluster (budgets, schedules, procurement, quality & risk, statutory compliance and governance)Develop and implement consistent maintenance management practices across sites.
Lead service partners and teams in driving performance and best practice to ensure exceptional service deliveryProvide technical support for client's leased space as requiredLead sourcing in the area of regional contracts for technical products or services.
Support JLL and client's business pursuitsAccountable for the JLL Engineering Operations Audit programDrive and deliver innovative cost reduction or sustainability programsDeliver improvement strategies using quantifiable data driven information from all available technology platformsWork with the account EMEA Sustainability Manager to identify energy management best practices and innovations that are applicable within the Client accountAccountable for all engineering budgets within the UK portfolio working with the site facilities managers and forecasts and in accordance to the financial timetableLead the UK engineering function in support of all client accreditations and certifications (e.g.
Client ISO50001, ISO550001 certification)Communicate regularly with the Client team to build and maintain relationships and work with key business partners and cross functional groupsManage internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KeyPerformance Indicators to ensure contractual commitments are met or exceededPromote high level of customer service to ensure and drive best practicesEnsure business continuity plans are carried out as required to maintain minimum service disruptionOther duties as requested by the EMEA Account Director in order to meet the changing needs and demands of the businessAll the time working in accordance with health and safety measures and promoting best practice amongst colleagues, contractors and vendorsConduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols, keeping up to date with latest legislation and trendsRequired Skills & QualificationsYou have direct experience in delivering technical Facilities Management services within a fast paced, high profile environmentYou have worked in a similar role and have skills to lead and influence others including virtual teams You have a track record in the management of Hard Services, preferably in both self-delivered and outsourced engineering services contractsYou have experience in financial management and budgeting, identifying cost savings/avoidance You are able to build and maintain positive client relations and network at all levelsYou are able to audit your own workYou are open and have good communication skills You are proficient with Word and Excel and have a keen interest in technology You strive for excellence in what you do and share ideas for improvementYou are organized, work efficiently and can meet tight deadlines with professionalism and service focused approach You are adaptable to work to requests and projects that may varyYou have a Technical or/and Authorised Person (preferred) qualifications#LI-JA1Location: Remote –London, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
