Overview

As a Data Specialist in the Data Management team, you own the operation of data processes for client instructions and ensure timely, accurate data setup. You will be the first point of contact for data-related questions, promoting data quality and efficient practices. You’ll review tenancy data, support audits, and drive data improvements across teams. This role offers the chance to shape data workflows in a global real estate context and work with cross-functional partners to ensure reliable information. You will play a key role in on-boarding, migrations, and ongoing data quality initiatives, contributing to an inclusive, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Review tenancy documents and extract data with lease knowledge
  • Share expertise to raise team efficiency and capability
  • Validate abstraction inputs to maintain data quality
  • Ensure accurate lease data transfer into management systems within KPIs and SLAs
  • Process data setup/amendment requests per best practices and timelines
  • Track and transfer funds, properties, units, and lease records in the database
  • Own client, property, and lease data migrations during transitions
  • Conduct regular data reconciliations and investigate/dispose discrepancies
  • Support reporting and control of critical event management
  • Act as primary data maintenance contact for queries
  • Assist in information gathering for internal/external audits
  • Lead ad-hoc data quality audits and reconciliation exercises
  • Contribute to developing standardized data management processes across teams
  • Manage training and development of colleagues as needed
  • Participate in project work and ensure data quality across instructions
  • Perform other duties to ensure data quality across instructions

Key requirements

  • Expert knowledge of legal lease documentation
  • Knowledge of Data Assurance principles
  • Strong IT skills including MS Excel (formulas, V-Lookup, X-Lookup, conditional formatting, pivot tables)
  • Experience in a data management environment
  • Knowledge of property management accounting systems (Yardi Voyager, MRI Horizon)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience with data migration and reconciliation
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Quick learner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • MS Excel advanced (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
