Overview
In this role, you will lead engineering services to sustain operational excellence at 22 Bishopsgate. You’ll shape and execute maintenance and modernization strategies, harness smart building tech, and drive sustainability. You work closely with occupiers, property management, and the JLL Engineering team to elevate reliability, safety, and performance. This is a chance to influence building operations at a landmark asset and push the boundaries of modern facility management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a comprehensive hard services maintenance strategy for 22 Bishopsgate
- Drive building system performance through innovative engineering and maintenance planning
- Integrate smart building technologies and automation to stay at the forefront of modern management
- Lead service provider relationships, manage contracts and KPIs to ensure high-quality operations
- Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety standards, and promote sustainability initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence, lead teams, and deputise for Head of Building Services and Projects
- Manage stakeholder communications with occupants and management to address maintenance matters
- Develop detailed annual budgets for hard services and capital replacements; monitor expenditures
- Contribute to emergency response planning and business continuity for building systems
- Ensure statutory compliance and safe work practices; conduct risk assessments and safety audits
