We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to lead our Residential Valuations team based in Leeds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in our residential valuation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand JLL's residential valuation business. Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives. Set and achieve ambitious team performance targets.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Provide expert advice on complex valuation matters. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of valuation professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of residential property markets and valuation methodologies. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Provide technical guidance on challenging valuation assignments.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all valuations meet JLL's high standards of quality and compliance. Implement and maintain robust risk management procedures. Oversee the review and sign-off of high-value or complex valuations.
- Business Operations: Manage the financial performance of the residential valuations team. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with other JLL service lines to drive cross-selling opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Valuation, or related field.
- Professional valuation qualification (e.g., RICS, API, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in residential property valuation, with ideally experience in a leadership role.
- Strong track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
