What This Job Involves

  • Coordination of the performance and governance of complex and multi-discipline GRE projects. The role is responsible for ensuring all projects (large and small, planned or unplanned) stay on time, on budget, and ensure the right stakeholders are engaged throughout the process.
  • Ensure that all projects have a developed project plan and resource needs with management to assign/obtain needed resources for project success.
  • Advise on basic project management approaches and tools, provide project management toolkit for projects as required.
  • Deliver effective PMO process management to all interested parties.
  • Continuously review the scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality of assigned projects.
  • Reinforce identified facility standards (i.e., facilities, safety, security, energy efficiency, space, FFE, etc.).
  • Conduct portfolio analysis to help address or accommodate project requests and business needs are met.
  • Ensure occupancy / vacancy levels are well understood and actively reported and managed.
  • Ensure change control procedures are in place, and actively used, to assess the effect of changes to the projects on costs, timescale and/or resource needs and report these to project sponsors.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed PM methodology, standards, policies and procedures to ensure strong governance, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and ideas so that performance is continually improved.

Client Management

  • Coordinate strategy and provide regular communication on activity.

Portfolio Management and Transactions

  • Ensure the team has the project Finance – ensure the team is aware of project estimates and budget-to-actual impact.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience of planning, controlling, monitoring and reporting on the delivery of projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including MS Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with a great attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an international, highly matrixed environment with a high number of stakeholders.
