Our Engineering team is the engine behind that promise — and we're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to lead our Lockheed Martin team at RAF Marham. If you blend genuine technical expertise with the leadership to bring out the best in a team, this role was built for you.
What you'll do
- Lead from the front, set the standard, and keep a busy mobile operation running smoothly across the region.
- Mentor and develop mobile engineers, allocate work by skill and urgency, and build a culture centred on safety, quality and outstanding service.
- Keep PPM schedules on track, coordinate reactive callouts, monitor completion and first-time-fix metrics, and lead twice-daily contract performance calls.
- Review technician diaries daily, batch work orders for efficiency, and partner with the onsite helpdesk to hit every SLA and KPI.
- Approve work specifications and method statements, provide technical guidance on complex jobs, ensure full H&S and regulatory compliance, create RAMS in Hands HQ, and manage parts, access and qualifications for quoted works.
- Enforce a strong safety culture, carry out risk assessments, complete at least two technician audits monthly, investigate incidents, and ensure all certifications are current.
- Manage OOH rotas and on-call escalations, cover the Contract Delivery Manager during absence, induct and train new starters, and maintain full certification compliance across the team.
