As a JLL Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician, you would be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), proactive, and reactive work on a range of industrial utilities and HVAC equipment, including:
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Chillers (water-cooled and air-cooled, including large centrifugal and screw chillers)
  • Refrigeration systems (e.g., stand-alone fridge/freezers, blast freezers)
  • Heating systems (LPHW, LTHW, steam)
  • Compressed air systems
  • Ensuring all client equipment is in efficient and effective working order and complies with statutory regulations, JLL policies, and H&S requirements.
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing all necessary documentation on time within JLL's facility management systems.
  • Liaising with specialists and suppliers for industry requirements and parts procurement.
  • Undertaking contractor control duties on behalf of JLL clients.
  • Supporting JLL's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in all maintenance activities.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

    • A relevant trade qualification or an apprenticeship in an Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC discipline.
    • Relevant certifications, such as a Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 Certificate.
    • Proven hands-on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, often within commercial office buildings, industrial facilities, pharmaceutical environments, or data centres.
    • A full, clean driving licence (for mobile/field-based roles).
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within JLL's integrated facility management framework.
