We are seeking a Pursuit & Proposal Director to be part of the EMEA Proposal Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support business growth for the Work Dynamics business. Proposal Management is a high-performance team of business development strategists focused on elevating business development deliverables and in turn, improve win rates, increase revenue, and positively differentiate the firm. It is a key strategic and high-visibility role in the function, which calls for a high-energy professional with excellent strategic-thinking and creativity as well as strong writing, analytical and collaboration skills. This position will be based in London and will work closely with Work Dynamics teams across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region as well as internationally. It calls for a high energy, proactive individual who can work independently as part of a team.
What this job involves:
- Contribute to the optimisation of team performance, continuous improvement and development opportunities
- Champion proposal best practice, ensure alignment to internal processes, collateral and content to improve efficiency and consistency in approach to proposals
- Comfortable liaising with Senior Leadership and challenging thinking with well thought out points/suggestions
- Working with Leadership to define and ensure compliance with internal governance processes
- Support execution of the knowledge management strategy
- Regular reporting on pipeline activity including opportunities, risks and threats
- Mentor and leverage Bid Support function in India
- Partner with wider JLL proposal management team to share best practices
- Develop a bid programme and identify necessary resources
- Create bid strategies, identify, capture and develop win themes
- Understand competitive landscape and seek to positively differentiate bid offer
- Submit consistently high quality, customer focused tender responses within allocated time frame
- Coordinate internal and independent reviews in line with bid programme
- Monitor bid costs and deliver bid within agreed budget, as appropriate
- Work with creative teams to enhance visual impact of tender responses / presentations
- Work with knowledge management team to maintain bid library and other relevant business development collateral
- Support global sales enablement programmes to enhance sales productivity.

- Strong educational background – degree / professional qualifications preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in proposal management preferably within the real estate industry
- Prior supervisory experience managing a diverse / remote team
- High energy levels and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of exceptional performance and ability to manage many competing demands
- Ability to manage multiple work streams with demanding time pressures with a proven track record of success
- Excellent project management skills and strong organisational capability
- Adaptable, able to present with gravitas and build client relationships (internal and external)
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral, written and presentation), coupled with strong influencing skills – particularly at a senior level
- Confident in client facing and board level situations
- Commitment to collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and work under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written English – additional languages beneficial
- Willingness to travel.
