What this job involves:

We’re looking for a Landlord Flex Advisor to join our energetic and highly collaborative team. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified and provide the highest quality service for dedicated business lines throughout London, focusing on our managed and Flex leasing and business development, but may extend to other business areas as required.

The role of a Landlord Flex Advisor is to assist landlords in maximizing the leasing potential of their office assets in the flex office market. The role involves analyzing market trends, positioning assets attractively, developing marketing strategies, negotiating lease terms, and building relationships with tenants and brokers.

The successful candidate can expect to stay updated on industry trends and collaborate with internal JLL teams to deliver tailored flex office solutions that best meet our clients’ leasing targets.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  1. Prospecting and Marketing
    • Research market trends, competitor activity, and target tenant profiles.
    • Identify and approach potential landlords and property owners for exclusive representation agreements.
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote available flexible office spaces through various channels.
    • Coordinate property showings, open houses, and networking events to attract prospective tenants.
  2. Lease Negotiation and Documentation
    • Negotiate lease terms and conditions on behalf of landlords, aiming for favorable outcomes.
    • Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
    • Collaborate with legal and leasing teams to finalize lease documentation.
    • Coordinate with property management and administrative teams to complete lease-related paperwork.
  3. Relationship Building
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with landlords, property owners, and industry professionals.
    • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking groups to expand professional network.
    • Attend meetings and communicate regularly with landlords, providing updates on leasing activities and market trends.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  4. Administration and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, including tenant information, market data, and lease documents using a CRM system.
    • Prepare regular reports on leasing performance, market trends, and prospecting activities.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations, market conditions, and relevant legislation affecting the flexible office market.
  5. Collaboration and Communication
    • Coordinate and collaborate with the leasing team, property managers, legal counsel, and administrative support to ensure smooth leasing processes.
    • Liaise with marketing and communications teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns.
    • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding leasing activities, market insights, and potential opportunities.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills

  • Experience within the Real Estate sector is welcomed but not essential.
  • Curiosity and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with potential tenants, landlords, brokers, and industry professionals.
  • Proven ability to grow a network and generate leads for business opportunities.
  • Experience in managing and nurturing client relationships, addressing concerns, delivering exceptional customer service, and responding to client needs promptly and professionally.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface credibly with external candidates and senior business leaders.
  • Good time management.
  • Basic skills in marketing and networking to attract potential tenants and promote available office spaces.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
