Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Supply Chain Solutions Manager for a fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure seamless continuity of service for our key clients and provide dedicated support to the wider team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to quickly take ownership of working with the Occupier Director in managing small Industrial & Logistics accounts, coordinating proposal development, and supporting ongoing business development efforts. This role is critical for maintaining momentum and delivering excellence during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal & Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to coordinate and develop proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs. Analyse client requirements and leverage your supply chain expertise to understand supplier needs, operational constraints, and commercial objectives. Translate complex client challenges into tangible, effective solutions that showcase JLL's value proposition in the supply chain and logistics space.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, managing ongoing calls and project deliverables, ensuring service delivery excellence. Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships, fostering trust and establishing yourself as a credible advisor. Proactively identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts, anticipating future needs and introducing additional JLL services where appropriate.
- Business Development: Support the wider Agency team with ongoing business development initiatives to maintain our pipeline and market presence. Actively work with internal JLL teams and business lines to identify new opportunities and promote our supply chain advisory services across the wider organisation. Develop a strong internal network to generate leads and contribute to a robust pipeline of potential new business.
Candidate Profile:
Required Experience & Qualifications: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement-focused role. Demonstrable experience in a client-facing capacity, such as account management, consulting, or business development. Proven ability to contribute to the creation of commercial proposals, tenders, or business cases. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Procurement, or a related field is preferred.
