  • Position: Static Maintenance Engineer
  • Client: Millennium Management LLC

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver reactive maintenance and repair services across the Millennium Management LLC London facility, ensuring minimal downtime and swift resolution of building services issues.
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm testing, distribution board inspections, RCBO/RCD testing, fixed wire testing, water temperature monitoring and flushing, fan coil unit servicing, and air handling unit filter replacement and cleaning.
  • Perform electrical maintenance works including wiring fault diagnosis and repair, access control and automatic door systems, emergency and general lighting maintenance, lamp replacements, socket outlet and accessory installations, Building Management System (BMS) troubleshooting, heating control repairs, and water heater maintenance.
  • Conduct basic mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabric maintenance tasks to support building operations and minimize reliance on external contractors.
  • Assess site requirements and procure necessary parts and equipment for maintenance tasks in accordance with procurement procedures.
  • Accurately update and close work orders for reactive callouts and PPM tasks on the Computer‑Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate site log books to ensure regulatory compliance and provide audit trail for all maintenance activities.
  • Produce detailed technical reports documenting any remedial works identified during routine inspections or emergency callouts.
  • Complete all electrical testing and issue appropriate certification and documentation for works performed, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Develop and complete site‑specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments prior to undertaking maintenance tasks.
  • Uphold engineering standards to maximize operational efficiency, reliability, and availability of building services critical to Millennium Management LLC's operations.
  • Ensure adherence to JLL quality assurance procedures, Millennium Management LLC site protocols, and industry best practices in all aspects of work.
  • Maintain strict compliance with both Millennium Management LLC and JLL Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Conduct proactive inspections of building services and equipment, identifying potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Provide emergency response coverage during and outside normal working hours as required by the service level agreement.
  • Maintain all company‑issued tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment in safe, serviceable condition.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across trades to deliver integrated facilities maintenance solutions.
  • Participate in Continued Professional Development (CPD) including mandatory health and safety training, technical skills enhancement, and regulatory updates to maintain current competencies.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Facilities Management team within the scope of the role.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Required Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation, or C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2, or C&G 2330 Levels 2 & 3 IPAF 3a & 3b (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) certification PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification
  • Required Experience & Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems within corporate office environments
  • Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in facilities management settings
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning plant
  • Working knowledge of building fabric with practical experience performing minor fabric repairs
  • Comprehensive understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application
  • Basic plumbing skills for minor repairs and maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise professionally with Millennium Management LLC stakeholders
  • Proficient in using smartphone applications and mobile technology for work order management
  • Self‑motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong team collaboration skills with willingness to support colleagues and follow management direction
  • Professional presentation and customer‑focused approach appropriate for corporate environment

This position requires flexibility in working hours to meet the operational needs of the Millennium Management LLC facility, including evening and weekend work when necessary.

The role includes participation in an emergency call‑out rota to ensure 24/7 building services support.
