Core Function: The EMEA Sustainability Analyst (P1) is the regional analytical backbone for the EMEA sustainability programme. Sitting within the Sustainability Operations Team (SOT) function, this role provides dedicated data analytics, quality assurance, and reporting support to both the Regional Operations Lead and the IFM Programme Lead. It replaces the current dependency on an underperforming global UDM team and frees senior team members from data work well below their grade. This is an execution-focused, data-driven, non-managerial role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regional Dashboard & Automated Reporting: Build and maintain the centralised EMEA SOT 2026 dashboard in QuickSight, design semi-automated recurring reports, create templated narrative frameworks, develop success metric calculation logic, map EMEA data pipelines.
  • Utility Data Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Conduct regional utility data quality assurance, audit EMEA data sources, chase data submissions, establish proactive data quality management, validate data against source systems.
  • Carbon, Energy & Water Analytics: Apply ILFI formula for EUI benchmarking, support site-level energy benchmarking, process HVAC/IAQ sensor data, monthly HVAC screening, carbon project pipeline data support.
  • Waste & Soft Services Data Analytics: Waste data analytics and interpretation, track and report on waste diversion, support Bin It Right programme, coordinate with FM teams on waste data completeness.
  • Building Performance & Energy (BPE) Data Management: Manage BPE data collection and automation, EUI gap analysis, support decarbonisation audit data preparation.
  • ESG compliance reporting data preparation: Produce monthly and quarterly reports, ensure data accuracy and audit-readiness, track and communicate success stories.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Develop and enhance systems and processes, leverage client tools for data management, identify process improvements.

Expected Outcomes and Critical Deliverables (first 6-months):

  • EMEA SOT 2026 Dashboard built, tested, and launched in QuickSight.
  • Utility data error rate reduced from 30–40% to below 5%.
  • Semi-automated reporting workflows operational.
  • EUI benchmarking complete across 41 strategic EMEA sites.
  • HVAC/IAQ sensor data processed and energy savings quantified.
  • BPE data collection automation process flow mapped.
  • Waste data analytics framework established.

Requirements – Essential:

  • University degree in environmental science, data analytics, engineering, or related.
  • 1–2 years in sustainability/energy data analysis or environmental data management.
  • Strong analytical skills – Excel (advanced), data manipulation, statistical analysis.
  • Dashboard tool proficiency – QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Clear communicator.

  • Experience with utility data management platforms.
  • Knowledge of sustainability compliance frameworks.
  • SQL or Python for data manipulation.
  • Experience working within FM/IFM or corporate real estate environments.
  • Understanding of energy benchmarking methodologies.
  • M&V data or energy audit support experience.
