Role Actions:

  • Leverage JLL's client relationships and market presence to generate new business opportunities
  • Position Tétris as the design and build provider of choice for JLL colleagues across Leasing Advisory, Account Management, and Project Management teams
  • Develop strategic partnerships with JLL service lines to create integrated client solutions that combine real estate expertise with design and build excellence
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in commercial office and retail fit-out projects in central London and regional markets
  • Develop Client relationships and introduce the Tetris services to prospective new clients
  • Own the lead generation and sales sourcing process of individual projects – ensuring the qualification of each opportunity is in line with Tetris requirements
  • Oversee relevant project teams from an account management perspective and as a client’s primary point of contact through the lifespan of a won and/or prospective project
  • Responsible for defining and managing the ‘strategy to win’ for each new opportunity
  • Maintain oversight of won projects from a client relationship position, working in collaboration with Tetris commercial and delivery leads to ensure that the Tetris team delivers in line with client and contract expectations
  • Maintain oversight of all relevant sales opportunities on Salesforce in a live, organised, and proactive manner to ensure annual sales targets (gross and net) are met
  • Operate at all times in line with the Tetris/JLL corporate code of conduct.
  • To work closely with the EMEA Business Development team, to share market and leads insights

Responsibilities

The key responsibility of the Business Development Director will be to ensure that they meet and ideally exceed assigned annual sales targets (gross revenue and net margin) and hence contribute to the growth of a steady and sustainable pipeline for the Tetris UK business. A Business Development Director must support the influx of opportunities from relevant lead sources while following appropriate risk management practices and maintaining a highly competitive “winning” attitude.

Experience – Required

  • Proven ability to and experience in successfully presenting to executive/board level individuals
  • Knowledge and understanding of design & build, detail and build, and design-only processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of London and South East office markets, nationwide UK is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of ‘cradle to grave’ UK property process
  • Significant relevant experience in the UK construction/fit out market (London/ South East preferred)
  • Proven track-record of successfully developing new business and winning (ie closing) design & build sales deals
  • Excellent communication/ people skills
  • Ability to develop strong, long term relationships and operate effectively in a matrix organisation to support clients / get things done and win repeat business
  • A strong existing London & South East property and fit out network

Skills and attributes - Preferred

  • Professional qualification in commercial real estate will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of / experience operating within corporate organisations is an advantage
  • Extensive experience working successfully across a wider property transaction process a plus
  • A commitment to collaboration, teamwork and maintaining an ethical approach to business
  • Dealing with ambiguity; working with limited information
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, an individual able to work under their own initiative with a high degree of energy, assertiveness, and creativity
