This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in water treatment within a commercial setting. You will work alongside experienced professionals, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship to lay the groundwork for a successful career in water treatment and management.

What you will be doing:
  • Assist in the monitoring and analysis of water quality to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Awareness and support in Legionella awareness.
  • Support the maintenance and operation of water treatment systems and equipment, including filtration, softening, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Learn to interpret technical specifications and water quality reports.
  • Participate in site visits to evaluate water treatment processes and implement improvements.
  • Help troubleshoot issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs to treatment systems.
  • Develop an understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and promote safe working practices.
  • Assist senior engineers in conducting water treatment processes and system maintenance.
  • Learn to test water quality and interpret results.
  • Help with the installation and repair of water treatment equipment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of water treatment logs and records.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and educational courses.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Assist in customer service and communication with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including water treatment logs and maintenance reports.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 5 in Maths is required for this role.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering.

  • Good level of attendance, self-discipline and time management.
  • There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years old.

You will be studying towards a Level 3 Water Treatment Apprenticeship. This course will be delivered online. When not studying, you will work alongside our experienced team. You may be expected to travel to different sites within a geographical region. You will need to manage your time and commitments well to ensure that you are able to complete your assignments whilst delivering a highly valued role.

In addition to developing your core engineering skills, you will be expected to support diverse and general maintenance activities across our facilities as part of JLL's comprehensive Total Facilities Management (TFM) service delivery. This may include routine inspections, basic repairs, equipment servicing, and assisting with preventive maintenance schedules. These responsibilities will provide valuable hands-on experience across the full spectrum of facilities management while contributing to overall operational efficiency and will complement your technical development as you progress through the apprenticeship program.

Important Information:
  • You will be required to provide your GCSE Grades prior to selection for the Assessment Centre & Interview.
  • The assessment centre for this programme will take place on either Monday 22nd June or Tuesday 23rd June in London.
  • Role Start Date: September 2026.
  • You may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level, depending on the location you will be working in.
