Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.We are seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer for Integral Cooling Technology to cover client sites within Scotland and North**Main Duties and Responsibilities**· Carry out PPM on all types of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems utilising all types of refrigerants – ammonia, F-Gas (HFC and HFO), carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons.· Reactive service including fault-finding mechanical, electrical and control systems, including performing emergency standby rota duties.· Compressor repairs and overhauls.· Leak testing.· Pressure testing.· Refrigerant recovery and charging.· Ability to operate on own initiative and as part of a team to effect attainment of agreed targets and objectives· Ability to develop a good understanding of our customers business requirements and operations· Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken – a ‘can-do’ attitude· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills· Good Working knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel and Word· Completion of all relevant documentation to a high standard.· General plant room and equipment housekeeping duties.**Experience and Qualifications**· Ideally completed a formal apprenticeship in Refrigeration.· CITB Safety Passport.· City & Guilds 2078 / 2079 F-Gas Refrigerant Handling / CITB Ammonia Handling Certificate / A3 Refrigerant Handling / CO2 Refrigerant Handling· City & Guilds 207 – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.· NVQ1, 2 & 3 – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.· Pressure Testing Competency.· Specific Compressor Manufacturers Training Courses.· Controls and Strategy experience **Location:**Remote –Glasgow, GBR, Tyne and Wear, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
