We are looking for an Analyst/ Associate to join our Hotels Value & Risk Advisory team based out of our London office.

The Responsibilities
  • Supporting valuations of Hotel single assets and portfolios in the UK and Ireland, and other parts of the EMEA region where required, working alongside both the Value & Risk Advisory teams in EMEA and the wider European Hotels Value & Risk Advisory teams.
  • Either being an RICS Registered Valuer, or having a pathway towards achieving registration would be ideal - we would be flexible on requirements for the right candidate.
  • Having a foray into hotel operations, profit and loss statements and markets would be advantageous.
  • Undertaking critical analysis of data and market research investigations.
  • Undertaking site inspections throughout the UK and Ireland.
  • Preparing valuation model analysis and reporting deliverables.
  • Creating property, market and location analyses.
  • Organising and ensuring complete folder records, as well as contributing to central databases.
  • Supporting the delivery of revenue targets for the sector.
  • Managing Hotels team valuation models and reporting templates.
  • Taking an active role in the team’s Client Relationship Management activities, including preparing credentials.
  • Working on other non-appraisal advisory projects as required.
  • Communicating and exchanging ideas with other members of staff across Europe.
The Requirements
  • Educated to degree level; a professional hospitality real estate qualification would be an advantage.
  • RICS qualified registered valuer with ideally minimum of 2-3 years’ post qualification relevant experience and/or experience with an international hotel/alternative operator, investment bank, hospitality/alternative advisor or investor.
  • Good knowledge of the UK trading hotel operational market and good understanding of the wider European hospitality market.
  • Collegial and team oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an EMEA team (depending on project scale) with minimal supervision.
  • Calm and focused under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills facilitating key client and stakeholder management.
  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK and Ireland and wider Europe.
  • Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook required.
  • Desirable: Experience in Salesforce/Capforce, VBA coding, data analytics, and/or BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
