We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a busy and collaborative providing legal and case management support across civil litigation, prosecutions and inquest matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with strong organisational skills and litigation experience to work within a fast-paced legal environment supporting complex and high-profile cases. Key Responsibilities β’ Manage documents relating to litigation, inquests and prosecutions using electronic document management and e-discovery systems β’ Support case management activities, including monitoring and tracking deadlines β’ Take notes during court proceedings, inquests and regulatory hearings β’ Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries of findings β’ Liaise with external solicitors, counsel's clerks and court representatives β’ Maintain and update legal know-how databases β’ Support knowledge-sharing initiatives across the legal team β’ Identify and coordinate relevant training opportunities β’ Monitor and communicate important legal and regulatory developments Requirements β’ Strong IT skills with experience using electronic document management systems β’ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy β’ Strong legal research skills β’ Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload effectively β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β’ Professional and approachable manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team β’ Flexible attitude and willingness to support a busy legal department where required β’ Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines β’ Ability to learn quickly and respond positively to feedback Desirable Experience β’ LPC, BVC or equivalent legal qualification β’ Previous paralegal experience (ideally 1β3 years) β’ Litigation, prosecution or inquest experience41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
