Our client, a national Law Firm, is seeking an ambitious Litigation Associate/Senior Associate to join their dynamic and growing dispute resolution team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled litigator to build and develop a strong practice, supported by an experienced department head and an in-house litigation team.
Key Practice Areas:
- General commercial litigation
- Banking and insolvency disputes
- Property and landlord/tenant disputes
- Media and data privacy disputes
- Employment disputes
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse and challenging caseload with team support.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Engaging in business development, marketing, and practice growth initiatives.
- Providing support to the head of department/General Counsel in the internal legal function.
The Firm provides regular supervision and support from the head of the department, alongside assistance from paralegals, trainees, and administrative staff as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ PQE and substantial experience in litigation/dispute resolution.
- Strong academic background with proven credentials.
- Confident in managing your own caseload, including time, diary, and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- A meticulous eye for detail and strong negotiation skills.
- Resilient, composed, and able to manage complex cases effectively.
