Job Description We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a busy and collaborative providing legal and case management support across civil litigation, prosecutions and inquest matters. /n This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with strong organisational skills and litigation experience to work within a fast-paced legal environment supporting complex and high-profile cases. /n Key Responsibilities /n β’ Manage documents relating to litigation, inquests and prosecutions using electronic document management and e-discovery systems /n β’ Support case management activities, including monitoring and tracking deadlines /n β’ Take notes during court proceedings, inquests and regulatory hearings /n β’ Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries of findings /n β’ Liaise with external solicitors, counsel's clerks and court representatives /n β’ Maintain and update legal know-how databases /n β’ Support knowledge-sharing initiatives across the legal team /n β’ Identify and coordinate relevant training opportunities /n β’ Monitor and communicate important legal and regulatory developments /n Requirements /n β’ Strong IT skills with experience using electronic document management systems /n β’ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy /n β’ Strong legal research skills /n β’ Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload effectively /n β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills /n β’ Professional and approachable manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders /n β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team /n β’ Flexible attitude and willingness to support a busy legal department where required /n β’ Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines /n β’ Ability to learn quickly and respond positively to feedback /n Desirable Experience /n β’ LPC, BVC or equivalent legal qualification /n β’ Previous paralegal experience (ideally 1β3 years) /n β’ Litigation, prosecution or inquest experience
