We are seeking a proactive and personable Receptionist who will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our offices. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys multitasking, taking ownership, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-of-House & Communication
Act as the first point of contact for customers and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome. Answer incoming phone calls, monitor shared inboxes, and ensure clear and timely communication across teams. - Client & Visitor Support
Greet visitors, manage incoming and outgoing post, and support client onboarding processes where required. - Meeting & Training Coordination
Schedule meetings and training sessions, prepare meeting rooms, and ensure all materials and refreshments are ready. Book staff training and maintain CPD records accurately. - Office & Facilities Management
Oversee office supplies, placing orders as needed and ensuring all consumables are fully stocked. Carry out regular checks to ensure the office is clean, organised, and fully maintained. Maintain meeting rooms and kitchen areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout the day. - Maintenance & End-of-Day Operations
Identify and report maintenance issues or repairs promptly. Close down the office at the end of the day, secure shutters, and ensure all daily tasks have been completed. - Administrative Support
Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance to senior leadership as required.
Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work independently. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
