Overview

By joining us as a Trainee Flexographic Printer, you’ll start by applying your finishing experience while learning advanced printing skills. You’ll play a key role in quality control and production efficiency, ensuring compliance with healthcare packaging standards. Responsibilities

• Support finishing and inspection tasks, including shrink wrap operations and packing.
• Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with our Quality Management System.
• Perform changeovers and setups to meet production targets.
• Learn to operate and maintain flexographic printing and finishing equipment.
• Assist with ink mixing, machine setup, and production runs.
• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.

What You’ve Got (Qualifications)

• Print finishing experience or similar production background.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Enthusiasm to learn and progress into a full printer role.
• NVQ Level 2 in printing (or willingness to work towards it).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Initially, the position will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After training is completed, the role will transition to a rotating shift schedule of three days per week, with each shift lasting 12 hours.
• Shift schedule details: Week 1 – Mon to Wed (06:00–18:30); Week 2 – Wed to Fri (10:00–22:30).
