Jones Gas Services is a growing company based in the Belfast area. Due to increasing demand for our services, we are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our hardworking and close-knit team. We carry out work for a major utilities company, a leading Belfast estate agent, several high-profile restaurant chains in Belfast city centre, and a wide range of private clients. This means the successful candidate can expect a steady and varied workload. The role offers a competitive salary, a company van, fuel card, uniform, and opportunities for progression within the business.

We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer / Plumber to support our growing workload. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing installations, maintenance work, and breakdown repairs while ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with current legal and gas safety requirements.

Key Duties:
  • Carry out gas and plumbing installations, maintenance, and breakdown repairs
  • Work independently when required
  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high professional standard
  • Follow all legal and gas safety requirements
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and customers
Requirements:
  • Experience in gas work and/or plumbing
  • NVQ Gas Level 2 as a minimum for gas engineers
  • Relevant gas qualifications, including CCN1
  • Gas meter experience is not essential
  • City & Guilds plumbing qualifications, where applicable
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
  • Valid CSR Card preferred but not essential
Package:
  • Competitive salary of £25,500 - £37,500 per year

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime available
  • Weekend availability may be required
