Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, testing, and repairs in line with regulations.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and building services.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests quickly and effectively.
  • Support general building maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, fabric repairs, and minor mechanical work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate job records and report any issues or recommendations.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and building users.

About You

  • NVQ Level 2 qualified (minimum)
  • 18th Edition (minimum)
  • Strong experience in building maintenance or facilities engineering.
  • Confident in electrical fault‑finding and working on commercial building systems.
  • Multi‑skilled approach with the ability to assist in other trades when required.
  • Good understanding of compliance, safety procedures, and building regulations.
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
