As an Electrical CX Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the Electrical equipment commissioning deliverables. As part of the CX Team, you will be responsible for the quality delivery of projects & equipment, ensuring that all client specifications are met, through inspections & testing. You will work closely with the CX Lead as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting-edge projects while ensuring that all client specifications are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the applicable Jones Engineering database for each project, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate, which will essentially deliver the handover, testing & script documentation to the client.
  • Completion of system and equipment test packs using Project Quality Management Software on a project-by-project basis.
  • Liaise with the QA Team on handover documentation, system handover and tagging dates.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment).
  • Preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures with the Specialist Vendor and suppliers.
  • Review of the performance test procedures and of the operating manuals with the Vendor team.
  • Execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Coordination assistance of the Vendor representatives.
  • Supervision of the performance tests if required.
  • Liaising with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and energisations.
  • Assist in preparation of final reports and certificates.
  • Attend meetings with management and subcontractors as required.
  • Travel required for Ireland and Mainland Europe site support where necessary.

This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to Data Centre, life sciences, construction, and other sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.

Skills And Requirements:

  • Relevant Electrical/quality qualification.
  • Electrical Trade background would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar role desirable.
  • Fluent English essential.
  • Knowledge of electrical Systems and Schematics essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
  • Experience working with Quality software would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
