With increasing workloads and continued growth forecast across Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire, we require an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Yeovil management Team.

The successful candidate needs to be a team player, understand current processes and bring new ideas to add and assist on our continued success and development.

Competitive salary offered along with company vehicle.

About the Role

  • Responsibility for contracts managing on projects from 5K – 600K
  • Experience in pricing and producing quotes / tenders
  • Close liaison with the clients and customers
  • Adhering to and implementing site Health and Safety
  • Writing and checking method statements and risk assessments
  • Direct and sub-contractor management and resourcing
  • Producing contract RAMs and CPPs as required

About the Candidate

  • Experience in planned, refurbishment and development type contracts
  • Must have excellent construction knowledge
  • Must be self-motivated as well as a motivator
  • Must have SMSTS, first aid and CSCS card
  • Competent in risk assessments and method statements
  • Compliant in H+S procedures and CDM
  • Excellant communicator
  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • 28 days holiday (includes bank and public holidays)
  • Annual Christmas shutdown
