*Overview*
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes (multidrop and national) ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a passion for driving and delivering quality service.
*Duties*
* Operate Class 2 and other commercial vehicles in accordance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
* Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road.
* Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a commercial HGV driver.
* Valid driving licence suitable for operating lorries and other relevant vehicles.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent driving skills with a good driving record.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and punctuality.
* Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when required. This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to safe driving practices and delivering exceptional service within a dynamic logistics environment.
