£29,666 to £34,290 plus excellent benefits including 8% pension and private medical. Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

This is a QA-based Calibration Engineer role responsible for the calibration, maintenance and management of inspection and measurement equipment across the manufacturing facility, alongside data analysis, root cause investigation and continuous improvement activities.

  • Calibrating equipment to industry standards
  • Performing routine equipment maintenance
  • Maintaining calibration equipment and supplies
  • Troubleshooting equipment failures
  • Conducting equipment repairs
  • Report analysis including trends
  • Interrogate root cause including creation of departmental systems and procedures
  • Understand & maintain departmental systems, procedures & KPI's
  • Has the ability and willingness to train others on OJT
  • Demonstrate tangible Kaizen based improvement projects for SQDCP
  • Maintain HSE standards & Control 5S to a high standard
