This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
This is a QA-based Calibration Engineer role responsible for the calibration, maintenance and management of inspection and measurement equipment across the manufacturing facility, alongside data analysis, root cause investigation and continuous improvement activities.
- Calibrating equipment to industry standards
- Performing routine equipment maintenance
- Maintaining calibration equipment and supplies
- Troubleshooting equipment failures
- Conducting equipment repairs
- Report analysis including trends
- Interrogate root cause including creation of departmental systems and procedures
- Understand & maintain departmental systems, procedures & KPI's
- Has the ability and willingness to train others on OJT
- Demonstrate tangible Kaizen based improvement projects for SQDCP
- Maintain HSE standards & Control 5S to a high standard
