My client is a specialist manufacturer of complex components and technical parts. They are seeking a Toolmaker to join their existing team. As a Toolmaker, you will create, repair, improve and maintain tools for production.

Responsibilities

  • Work to engineering drawings and technical diagrams.
  • Use bench hand tools and tool room equipment to produce production tools.
  • Service and repair tools to prevent production downtime.
  • Adjust and customize tools for bespoke projects.
  • Provide technical support to other Toolmakers and the production team.

Requirements

  • Must be a time served Toolmaker.
  • Previous experience working in a Toolmaking position.
  • Experienced in using bench hand tools and tool-room machinery.
  • Ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
  • Must be a team player.

Location

This position is based in Droitwich and it’s commutable from Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Bromsgrove and Redditch.
