Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role working with an established maintenance team. The role offers £53K and excellent overall earning potential with regular overtime and a good shift pattern working 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off, very competitive holiday and 10% pension.
This will suit an engineer who can effectively fault find electrically and mechanically, who likes working shifts with regular weekends off and long off-shift periods for holidays and breaks.
Job Outline:
- Predominantly mechanical maintenance required working within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Fault finding electrically to include interrogation panels and resetting sensors.
- Conducting PPM on machines, scheduling repairs and supporting the installation of machines and senior engineers with projects to improve machines.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to:
- Plan and carry out routine scheduled and preventative maintenance work.
- Provide technical support to production staff.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
- Installation of electrical and mechanical machinery.
- Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work.
The Maintenance Engineer should have the following skills or experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing business.
- Experience with both Mechanical Maintenance Engineering.
- A recognised certificate/qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with knowledge of Maintenance Engineering that would like to develop their experience within a manufacturing company. You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi-skilled engineer, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, technician, mechanical fitter, electrical or shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer or service engineer.
Shift: Panama (12 hour shifts with every other weekend off) 42 Hours/week.
