What You Will Do

  • Assist with hardness testing and related laboratory activities, supporting the end to end certification process.
  • Use Office 365 tools, with a focus on Excel, Access and Word, to help organise results and documentation.
  • Support dimensional measurements, ensuring readings are recorded accurately and consistently.
  • Work with measurements, formulas, tolerances, and reporting requirements to help create clear outputs for clients.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail in all checks and data handling, safeguarding accuracy throughout.
  • Work Monday to Friday in a full time schedule, including an earlier finish on Fridays.

What You Will Bring

  • A good level of Maths and English, ideally to GCSE standard, plus a practical interest in Science related subjects.
  • Confident Office 365 skills, especially Excel and the ability to follow structured processes in Access and Word.
  • High attention to detail, precision in recording information, and a steady, quality focused approach.
  • Experience that would be advantageous, including any laboratory exposure or dimensional measuring experience.
  • The ability to work independently, while still collaborating effectively with the team.
