4 x ROBOT WELDERS NEEDED IN CHESHIRE!!! Do you have previous experience working as a Robot Welder, or are you someone who has some limited MIG Welding & Fabrication experience who would like to gain more experience within a thriving Engineering business? If so get in touch with me today as we are looking for 4 Robot Welders to join an Engineering business based in Sandbach on a straight permanent contract.
Whilst the hiring manager would prefer people who have previous experience of operating robotic welding machinery, they are prepared to look at someone who has limited MIG Welding and/or Fabrication experience, with the view of bringing them into the business as a Robot Welder, with future progression opportunities available.
For the first 12 weeks you will train on day shifts (7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 12.30pm finish Friday), before moving onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern once trained. During the first 12 weeks you would earn an annual salary between £26,500 - £29,200 per annum (DOE), but once on the rotating shift system you could earn between £32,000 - £35,500 per annum, overtime is regularly available and is paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours. This business also offers a £2,000 new starter incentive bonus which is a staggered payment (£200 after the first month, £800 once you've passed probation and the final £1,000 to be paid after 12 months service).
What You Will Do:
- Set up and operate robotic welding machinery.
- Actively and diligently manage all robot machine settings and make necessary adjustments.
- Interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Inspection of own work in accordance with relevant engineering drawings and documentation.
- Operate hand tools effectively.
- Work with sheet metal on one-off components as well as batch work.
