A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. Working in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and your contributions will make a real impact. Working Days Shift Pattern: 5.30am till 6pm on Week 1 – Wednesday – Friday & Week 2 Thursday – Saturday.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance across plant, equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including control panels, PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Ensure all electrical systems are operational and safe prior to production start-up, providing technical support as needed.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, site procedures, and statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and implement improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and compliance documentation, ensuring easy retrieval to meet regulatory and customer standards.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with expertise in control systems, PLCs, and electrical drives.
  • Knowledge of current electrical legislation and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet operational goals.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following health and safety protocols.
